Director: Mark Pease, Director of Bands

The Wind Symphony is composed of the top 45 to 60 musicians in the Lamar Band Program . This group is able to perform major works for bands. The Wind Symphony performs several concerts per year, as well as preparing for UIL. Concert and Sight-reading Contests where they consistently receive Superior and Excellent ratings. The top players of this group also comprise the wind and percussion sections of the Lamar Symphony Orchestra.
